Neat Transitions

Here are some pretty cool transitions I put together..

  • I used the app "Cap-Cut" to put all clips together with the transitions

 

Dissolve-

Here in this shot you're viewing a video I took at "Super Blue Miami", in this room you see light bulbs twinkling from the ceiling. The room seemed very magical and I can definitely say that it was one of my favorites. In the video above I used a dissolve transition. In one part of the video you see one side of the room, and in the other you see another side of the room.


Wipe-


These clips are videos I took on my plane ride leaving New York. I used a wipe transition to show the change in scenery. Starting in the first clip, the plane is moving but still on the ground. In the second clip, you can see it has already taken off and is flying in the air.

Match-cut-

Here I used a match-cut transition to show the matching in my poses, in different videos. The making of these videos took place at "Super Blue Miami" as well as my dissolve transition video. In the first clip, I'm in a mirror room and I'm posing with my hand out doing a peace sign. In the second clip, I'm in a room with a floral look going on and you can see me doing that same pose I did in the first clip.

Brainstorming

I'm leaning towards my film being based on high school teens since that'll be more easy for me to be creative with, as I am a high school teen myself making me more experienced on that area of matter. I'm debating on doing a film based on #1a teen with a rich family being kidnapped and held for ransom, #2 a teen committing a crime and being arrested, and #3 a teen sneaking out to a party and getting arrested. A pro about the third option would be that it's awfully common that these things happen, but a con is that I don't know how sure I am that I'll be able to do a police scene with an actual police car or officer present. As for the second option, the problem present in the 3rd one applies here as well, as I would like to include a scene of the teen committing the crime to be arrested. A pro of the first option is that I would be able to create some great scenes with props I can more likely get access to, a con would be that I'm not quite sure how I would ...

Mood Board

 This mood board conveys the overall mood of the show Greys Anatomy. In this show there is a lot romance, relationships, MEDICINE, and overall a lot of medical drama. The hearts on my mood board represent all the romance, relationships, and love going on throughout the show. The images of surgeons and operating rooms were included because the whole show is mainly based on surgeons, and them performing surgeries.  I included a couple of medical equipment as these are used a lot throughout the show as they are using them to treat people. The image of the hospital plays a big part as majority of the show is filmed in a hospital, as the help sick patients. The ambulance represents the way some patients are brought to the hospital as we see it multiple times throughout the show.

Camera Shots and Angles

“Follow-up Shot”  I am filming the dragon fly as it moves, showing how it flys from one place to another. As I’m following it you can see how fast it moves, how it moves, and where it likes to go.   “Close-up Shot” I was showing how the way the girls hair & eyes blends significantly with the plants. This shot is close so you can see her hair color matches the green leaves and her eye color matches the reddish part of them. “Establishing shot” This shows how peaceful it looks to sit there surrounded by the plants. This shot shows the plants and how there’s no one around making any type of disturbance or noise.    “Reaction Shot” By the reaction on my face you can tell that i’m shocked by something that happened. This shot doesn’t only shows the viewer my reaction, but it makes them wonder what happened for me to react like that. “Low-angle Shot” With the girl standing by the tree it really emphasizes how tall that tree is.
